Service Calls...

"Just wanted to thank you for excellent customer service. I forgot to ask the young man his name, but the technician that came to our house this evening to work on our gas fireplace problem was wonderful! He was kind and polite, solved the problem quickly and explained it all to me very nicely. He was even friendly and kind to our pets. I really appreciate the outstanding customer service skills this man has, and I appreciate your company for hiring such excellent technicians."

Home Energy Checkup...

"I just had the home energy checkup offered in your latest newsletter. Being on a limited disability income, the free offer is greatly appreciated. I was contacted the next day after submitting my request. The inspector was very pleasant, informational, and willing to discuss issues and offer ideas. I understand he is a private contractor but I thought you'd like to know he represented Columbia Gas very well." – Frankfort Customer

Meter Change...

"My wife and I got a new gas meter today. We were one of the households chosen to have ours replaced. Your technician was very nice, professional, and really personable. He called 30 minutes before arriving which gave me plenty of time to get from the office to the house. He also took the time to explain what he was doing and why. Emergency Response...

"I called Columbia Gas because I thought I smelled gas when I stepped outside my house late one afternoon. Within 30 minutes Columbia had someone at my house. I spoke with him, and even though neither of us could smell the gas at that point, he checked out the area. It turned out there was a small leak. The very next day, Columbia had a crew out to fix the leak, which involved tearing up the sidewalk. By the time they finished at the end of the day, everything was cleaned up and replaced. I was very impressed with their responsiveness, that they left no mess, and by the fact that someone called and checked with me on their service as well. It's too bad more companies don't operate this way." – Lexington Customer

"Unfortunately, I do not remember the name of the Columbia Gas technician that fixed the gas leak at my house. He was excellent. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient.
