The Black Stallion Literacy Project - Spring 2010 - Central Kentucky - Columbia Gas of Kentucky is pleased to partner with the Kentucky Horse Park's International Museum of the Horse and The Black Stallion Literacy Foundation to bring the joy of reading and horses to first and fourth grade students in Fayette, Clark, Scott, Madison, Bourbon, Woodford, and Jessamine counties. Town Branch Trail-A-Palooza - August 15, 2010 - Lexington - Columbia Gas of Kentucky is pleased to help celebrate the completion of 1.8 miles of the Town Branch Trail. The trail begins across from the entrance to Masterson Station Park, where it winds past historic Bracktown and runs through the McConnell Trace, Westwood, and Marehaven subdivisions until its temporary termination at Alexandria Drive. (Designs call for it to eventually extend to Newtown Pike.) The event will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. and is free and open to the public

Roots & Heritage Festival - September 2010 - Lexington - The 21st Annual Roots & Heritage Festival will bring together visitors and entertainers from throughout Kentucky and the nation and includes activities for children, cultural entertainment, a gospel concert, art exhibits, a walk-a-thon, a golf outing, a health fair and numerous vendors.
