Community Service
Helping to make the communities where we work, live and play stronger is important to Columbia Gas. Through contributions, sponsorships and employee volunteerism, we strive to support the communities we serve.
Inclusion & Diversity
Columbia Gas of Kentucky recently established an Inclusion & Diversity Council comprised of employee volunteers. This Council works to foster an inclusive work environment where all employees feel valued and respected. The Inclusion & Diversity Council also reaches out to the community and agencies that assist those with special needs, including:
- planning events to honor veterans and celebrate the new home of the Lexington Hearing & Speech Center,
- presenting donations to the Lexington Hearing & Speech Center, Central Kentucky Radio Eye and Visually Impaired Preschool Services, and
- collecting items to support holiday drives at the Hope Center in Lexington, the Hillcrest-Bruce Mission in Ashland, and the Ironton City Mission in Ironton, Ohio.
Look for us in your community
Whether their lacing up their shoes for the Komen Race for the Cure or sorting food at God's Pantry Food Bank, Columbia Gas employees believe in community involvement. Look for us at an upcoming event in your community!
